The Collision of Souls

Every Friday, it's a thank-God-it's-Friday-day for most of us. Honestly, Fridays rock. It's the end of the week and the beginning of the weekends which makes it better. :) Yesterday however wasn't just any usual Fridays. It was mid-autumn festival day!HEhe... According to the legend,or chinese belief, it's the day when the lovers met at the 'lovers bridge' up in the sky which we know as the milkyway. HAHa. Not joking wei. Will tell the full version of the story some other time. (It's pretty romantic really. heehee)

Meanwhile, a bunch of us decided to relive our childhood days by playing lanterns (tanglungs) :D Firstly, thanks to ee jen and helena for buying those oh-so beautiful lanterns (the 'hello kitty' was cutee la!heheh) lin-dy for fetching me to and from vicky's house and vicky for hosting the whole event! :) So, around 5:30 lin-dy came and fetched me to vic's place for a 2 hours plus of "group study" KEke. Ok, ok, it was all my fault for having such big mouth yakking away distracting everyone. But when you have 6 gals (vicky.lin-dy.helena.eejen.sharlyn and i) sitting together. You really can't help it k. HAha. Anyway, work or no work we had funn and it kept going until we reached the mamak place for dinner. Before we knew it. Lantern time! HEhe.

Later on, (kristyn.li-mae.jeremy.dillon.justin.cze wien.chris lau.sarveen.ashwin.and gilbert) joined us.Oooo how could I forget our wishes. HAha.which apparently only the gals took them seriously, actually the guys did not write anything. Hmph. Anyway, we wrote down wishes for ourselves and set up candles that looked like a heart shape. Then, burnt our wishes at a nearby park. Whee. We went back to vicky's place when it started pouring. Yeap,maybe that is why I feel kinda 'woozy' today. :) Anyway, I seriously had a lot of fun. Talking and laughing and playing the lamest games on earth which took up most of our time. HAha. But honestly, it was fun. Sigh, happy times flys by and soon we were under vicky's umbrella.
