Forgive Me?

I feel so left behind. For not blogging for ages!Mein gosh.By the way, I found this saved in my micrsoft word since God knows when and thought to myself, why not just blog this out. So, here goes...

I heard of this story a while ago and it went something like that…

Once upon a time, a young man was at this ball in a castle when suddenly this beautiful girl caught his eyes. She turned out to be a princess. He knew that he could never marry her. He was only a normal person. No status. No nothing. However, the princess made a deal with him. If he were willing to sit outside the tower where the princess lives for a hundred days, she would marry him. As days goes by, the young man sat there day and night without water or food. He waited patiently until the 99th day. He grew old and weak, but he still held on. One more day. But he left the place on the 100th day. Why you may ask. He did not want to know the answer. He was afraid that the princess would not want to marry him and that is why he did not want to take the risk. He’d rather go on living with that hope in his heart. Touching. Yes, indeed.

Sometimes, we just go on waiting for the one. For that one person and sometimes we don’t even know why but just like that young man we still want to hope. Hope that keeps us going. Keeps us moving. A hope even so tiny and fragile but it’s good enough. At least it’s good enough to keep us going. And until the hope turns into a miracle will we stop.

P/s: You couldn't see it but my heart was smiling.
